Real Life Mindfulness

Have you ever been halfway through a shower, and suddenly noticed you can’t remember whether you’ve already added conditioner? Or when traveling on a familiar road, have you ever arrived at your destination without remembering any of the drive? If you’ve experienced this, you are not alone. A Harvard study found nearly 47% of the time, the average adult American is not paying attention to what they are doing – and the title of this study is “A Wandering Mind Is Not A Happy Mind”, (Killingsworth and Gilbert, 2010). Practicing mindfulness has been found to diminish symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia, and physical pain, as well as increase focus, concentration, and memory. Join Anna DeLong, LCSW, a licensed therapist and Mindfulness Teacher to learn Mindfulness basics as well as ways simple ways you can begin to practice Mindfulness in your day to day life.

Empowering Your Health and Wellbeing presented by Beth Frackleton, MEd, BSN, RN, NBC- HWC and Mary Sherman, LCSW, CAPP Are you ready to make some empowering changes in your life to positively impact your health and wellbeing? Join this 6 week class that will use the best strategies from Health Coaching and Positive Psychology to help identify and meet your goals. The class is highly engaging and geared towards your personal success.

The 8-Weeks program

Get support in eating, moving and managing to be at your personal physical best. You get two individual coaching/nutrition sessions and 8 small group classes over a 3 month period. You will learn and practice mind-body skills, growth mindset, nutrition & movement for better blood sugar, weight loss, in lowering blood pressure. Nourishing Resilience Essentials

Experience the freedom of feeling at your best, able to recover from stressors, feel joy, and choose healthy food and movement more often. Learn which of the Nourishing Resilience tools to use to reap more balance, sanctuary, intimacy, vitality and integrity. Experienced NR provider and nutritionist Cynthia Moore MS, RDN and Kris Bonham RDN will guide you through the essentials 7 week course. Introductory/orientation sessions are a prerequisite and are offered every other month.

Money Management Skills

Grow in confidence with money management regardless of your age or stage in life. Learn how to better manage your credit, budget, and be financially prepared for retirement.
